     As we approach the Dragon Boat Festival, we would like to inform you about our holiday schedule and provide some details about this important cultural celebration. 

        Holiday Schedule

 In observance of the Dragon Boat Festival, our office will be closed from May 31st to June 2nd. We will resume normal operations on June 3rd.  If you have any urgent matters, please contact us and leave messages， we will respond to you ASAP. Thank you for  your understanding!

       About the Dragon Boat Festival

   The Dragon Boat Festival, known as Duanwu Jie (端午节) in Chinese, is celebrated on the fifth day of the fifth month of the lunar calendar, which falls on June 2nd this year. This festival has a rich history and is celebrated with various traditions:

Commemoration of Qu Yuan: 

The festival honors the poet and statesman Qu Yuan (屈原), who is remembered for his patriotism and dedication to his country. His legacy is a reminder of loyalty and sacrifice.

Dragon Boat Racing: 

One of the most exciting traditions is the dragon boat races, where teams paddle in unison to compete in beautifully decorated boats. These races symbolize teamwork and community spirit.

Eating Zongzi: 

Families prepare and enjoy zongzi (粽子), sticky rice dumplings wrapped in bamboo leaves, filled with various ingredients. This delicious treat is an integral part of the celebration, representing the offerings made to Qu Yuan.

Hanging Herbs: People hang herbs like mugwort and calamus around their homes to ward off evil spirits and bring good luck and health for the year ahead.
