For example, our BDS-FBS and BDS-GSL are the most classic models. One is a pocket scale and the other is a mini electronic balance. 

So today we will learn about some differences between electronic balances and pocket scales.

First, the black model (GSL) is a pocket scale designed for home use, while the white model (FBS) is a mini electronic balance intended for commercial applications, produced in accordance with national measurement standards.

According to this point, you can also compare the usage scenarios and weighing needs to choose. Mini electronic balances are suitable for laboratories, jewelry and diamond stores and other places that require high-precision weighing; while pocket scales are suitable for daily home use and meet basic and simple weighing needs.

Second, the difference in the starting weighing value(minimum weight), the electronic balance can generally start at 0.002-0.003 grams when unloaded, and can even start at 0.001 grams when loaded; but the pocket scale is worse, generally ensuring a start value of about 0.005g.

Third is the difference in loadcells. The difference in appearance is the size, and there are many technical differences, such as creep, temperature (high and low temperature compensation), etc. In short, whether there will be problems with the weighing number of jumps(The weighing value is different weighing each time or the value of the item on the weighing table will also change, etc.) and weighing stability in our daily use, these are definitely the reasons why electronic balances are much better than pocket scales.

Fourth, the difference in the motherboard/PCB, components and AD chip selection and configuration are also different.
